  1. Hello i have an Xperia XA1 (G3116), Can i flash Malaysian Firmware on my Default Indian firmware? I am currently on Oreo (Indian Firmware) and need to downgrade to Nougat.

    1. Hi varun, sorry to say nougat firmware no longer available for devices with oreo update because of security patch 2018. Let me knw why u r reverting back to nougat ?..

      2. If u want u can flash malaysian firmware on an indian device as all 2g, 3g bands are same. In case of 4g, primary baseband 3 is in both regions i.e you can use 4g services without any problem but, secondary band 40 is not available in malaysia firm file which i doubt the volte service may not work proper. Anyway u go ahead and let me knw.

      Thanks for visit 🙂

      1. Thank you for the reply, the only reason to downgrade from Oreo to Nougat is the screen issues. Many XA1 Oreo users are facing unresponsive touch on the edges of their screen which by Discussion on Xperis forums, is due to Oreo update. Please tell me whether I can successfully downgrade without bricking my device. No worries for VOLTE unavailability. I just somehow need to downgrade successfully.

          1. My Xperia XA1 (G3116) is not showing in the device list on flash tool, not even in driver package list. how do i flash then
